Cooperation of Space NCPs as a Means to Optimise Services

The aim of the conference “Satellite Telecommunications – An Innovative Tool Serving Regional Development”, jointly organised with the EU Committee of the Regions in Brussels on 20 March 2012, is to better inform regional and local officials in these areas in a practical way as to the broad range of financial instruments created by the European Union in order to help them find the best solutions for the development of their telecommunications infrastructure.

A range of high-level speakers, including politicians and representatives from regional and local authorities, experienced decision-makers and officials responsible for regional policy and EU funding and professionals from the space industry, will be sharing their knowledge in order to build up a fruitful dialogue between the panel members and the audience.
